Biographie
The work of Marc Marie-Joseph revolves around the resonance of the place. The history, architecture and social mores involved composition of the work as materials. Each project that constructed from an experimental and completely random exploration.
Which underlies my approach is to be as different relationships to it elements. .
I also drew well in the literature, novels, poetry, new or past or contemporary I apply to a match with the atmosphere of the place at the corner of my improvised walks historical narratives.
Ultimately this can lead to drawings paintings and installations.
Marc Marie-Joseph develops the installation for several years on problems of « drift », on the Caribbean. During these last three years are interest is going on the wonderful tropism.
A graduate of the art school of Martinique, he obtained the DNSEP in 1997.
